It’s just the player had a chance to play there. This season, Trez score against Liverpool and Chelsea. Samatta scored against Man City, Engels and McGinn scored against Spurs. All of those were in CL and if we had chance to play them there those would’ve scored. Eder or whatever his name won a Euro’s for Portugal, where is he now? Scoring important goals isn’t really an indication wether you’re a top player or not. For example we’ll be cheering for El Ghazi and Trez and they’ve put their name in our history. He also says we could spend in the region of £30m three times. Hopefully we land some of our top targets so we arent scrabbling around late in the day after our back up options have moved elsewhere!
