Strangely enough I thought if we wanted any Fullback it would be one to replace Taylor (LB)?

I think Guibert has great potential, and whilst Elmo isn't a World Beater he is experienced with good delivery, big games don't phase him either (Got 1 more year in him?).

In this case i'd be hoping we get a player who can cover both, really wouldn't like to see Guibert go so early.

Also seeing the West Ham are interested in Benerhama, don't him and Bowen play in the same positions? Who do we reckon is the better of the two?

I reckon Benrahma is better, but can’t say I’ve seen enough to judge, we still need to see more from Bowen, and see Benrahma in the PL.

West Ham already spent some money last winter, so I think we’re likely to pay what Brentford demand. Not sure if there are other bidders or not.

If we could get enis bardhi that would be an excellent buy. Arsenal apparently interest in him.

He is a free kick specialist but is skillful and seems to be a threat outside the box. A bit small at 5'8, so we really need a midfielder with size. He can play out wide as well. His form seems to have dipped a bit so maybe that will allow us to get him on the cheap.

I think we need one of a similar standard, or better to challenge Guilbert and the same to challenge Targett.

It wouldn’t be the speculation thread without a highlight reel with obnoxious music:

He won’t get quite so much time and space in the PL so that will restrict him a little perhaps. He would be a good signing for us, I’m sure, and one I hope we make.

Would absolutely love us to go for Milner as our one experienced / slightly elderly signing. I know his wages would be high but the experience and set piece skills would really help an otherwise youthful midfield 3, + plus his delivery would mean we wouldn’t have to play Hourihane for just that reason. I believe he has a lot of love for this club and he didn’t appear for Liverpool much towards the end of the season so signing him could be possible.

Yeah a full back who can play both sides would be ideal. Someone who could cover/rotate with Guilbert and Targett. Elmo and Taylor both only have another 12 months left on their deals so I'd let them stay as backup but give them the option of moving for free if 1st team football is what they want.

I think he'll need time to adjust and it would be good to come abd take Lansbury's seat on the bench and ease him in if we have a midfield of mcginn Dougie and jack. Wouldn't be a starter in my eyes and I personally don't see him as a winger.

If the NUFC takeover happens and Bruce is still incharge, surely we can look to get somewhere between £100 and £120m for Elmo?

Sure I read somewhere that they are looking at Pochettino

West Ham are pretty stacked in the winger/forward positions  Anderson, Yarmolenko , Bowen, Snodgrass, fornals,  Lanzini, plenty of attacking final third threat there

Lanzini and Anderson are likely to leave. Snodgrass probably too.

If they get the nod off the PL I’d imagine that would be the kind of manager they’d be looking to appoint. Do you think Poch would like a fullback/utility player for a bargain £100m?
