Snodgrass on a free and cash in on AEG and Connor, an upgrade in ability, intelligent player, excellent character, covers both wings, excellent dead ball specialist too.

Cheap cover for one year, which gives us time to find out what this squad has got before the next big window.

Striker or a wide man. Rashica would be perfect. You then have Rashica and Traoré who could both do a job up top of Watkins and Davis were injured.

Our need for a LW is greater than a new striker (in my opinion).

What is the point in moving one of them centrally as it means getting zero service from AEG or Trez.

I’d argue Barkley’s link is worth its own thread.  Hopefully would push down the Edouard thread. Every time I see it pop up I think there’s been some development! I can’t believe how much fans want him.

Linked with Leicester latest and Arsenal previous. You saying he too good for us?

Add Snodgrass to the let it go list with Benteke and milner

Tarkowski west ham were quoted £50m according to the rags so they turned their attention to rugani at juve instead which with our recent links to them might be more interesting for us

That said as much as we need CB cover I think it'll be hard to convince someone to come in as 3rd choice and it'll be harsh to drop konsa, that's us trying to buy another Engels which as he showed isn't easy, rugani on a loan with an option to buy would be good though

I also think an upgrade in midfield helps our defence out and is more important, if we get 1 more in that's where it'll hopefully be

I don’t know enough about him I just don’t think think we are going to spend big money on another striker after paying 33m for one and there hasn’t been a single decent link to him either.

As I said before. £100 to VT if it happens.

I hope I'm wrong in this instance, but I get the feeling that Percy's not as informed as he usually is this transfer window...

He's gone from 100% never ever wrong to 50/50 this summer.

Shame.

CM where I just don't think we have cover for SJM - a proper box to boxer.  John Swift is the best decently priced option I have seen mooted.  I would also look to sell Nakamba and Hourihane and re-invest in Billings.  We have really suffered in the last two seasons when we lose SJM.  DS loves to play a 4-3-3 and he needs box to box midfielders to make that work and McGinn, and Jack if he moves back, are the only two viable (although I suppose Dougie L an step up) but I just think we need cover here desperately to get through a season

Hmmm to each their own, but I personally would be disappointed if we sold both of them and then bought Billing (as the best player option to bring in). Would expect a better quality of player than him plus getting relegated in back to back years is also worrying to me
