He will likely not get many minutes and didn’t cost us anything but he’s shown he is capable of something from that season with Elbar. On recent form he's no where near good enough to be signing for a Premier League club. We've obviously have no funds available, it must have been a close call between him and Adebayor. Well maybe we have been trying for multiple strikers all month knowing this was our final option on deadline day. Those didn’t come off, so we used the backup plan. brummybloke Posted January 31, 2020 Share Posted January 31, 2020 Worst case, he does nothing but cost wages, then we flog him couple million in summer as a premier league player which pays his wages so cost nothing for cover. While not exactly piatek or another top rated forward, I think the limited gamble is to try and make sure we stay up. I recon FFP has put a holt on the spending. We spent £130m in the summer and another £10m in January, if there is a limit we seem to have hit it. He's had chances and done nothing to demonstrate usefulness at champo nevermind prem league level.
