Yes we do, good at defending, good at attacking, the bit in the middle needs improving. Im sure it will. When it does we will be top 10 team at least.

I understood that lucky keks and socks were not to be washed, and that this is part of the reason football grounds smell as they do.

The formation allows the wingbacks a lot of freedom but that means the midfield pairing are under a lot of pressure. The system relies on the centre backs being good on the ball and experienced enough to know when to help out the midfield. Our centre backs are young and improving but not there yet.

Just knew it would be our night when Nyland started pulling off those saves. Clear MOTM performance from our most improved player.

Thought Nakamba and Targett were class tonight, Douglas Luiz looked very good. Grealish obviously brilliant as ever.

Felt sorry for Samatta. You could see glimpses of a decent player in there, and he made the runs we’ve been begging Wesley to make, but think he was just a bit off the pace. I think the fact chances like that are falling to him already suggests he will score goals.

I was cursing Smith when he took El Ghazi off (our best penalty taker surely?) but fair play, Trez’s energy late on caused a lot of problems, and how poetic to have the two Egyptians linking up like that?

Special mention to Keinan Davis, who caused Leicester problems, played a beautiful through ball for Trez, and will be a useful addition to the squad over the next few weeks.

Also **** Mike Dean, silly old word removed.
