If it's any help, my parents (in their 70s) had no side effects whatsoever from both jabs. First dose - slight light headedness a couple of hours afterwards, beyond that just a sore arm for a couple of days. Second dose - very very very tired about 10 hrs after having it, with a mild headache. Tiredness has lasted since having it and the headache has come and gone, and arm is more sore. Nothing too bad - was able to work throughout. Anecdotally the pattern with the Pfizer vaccine appears to be the first dose has hardly any side effects, the second is a bit worse but still not bad. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

First jab had nothing the same night but woke next day to mild upper arm pain and but of headache and prob felt at 70% for 2 days. Jab2 same but the effects came on 48 hours later. It would be interesting to know what percentage of people getting it are vaccinated, and if it’s in line with other variants. If the virus gets worse then he looks like he was right. If it doesn't get worse then he can say that he's decided that it is safe to continue opening up.
