Mbwana ‘Ally’ Samatta

It's Your Round

Recommended Posts

Couldn’t find the whole game so I went through the highlights of the champions league games he played in. He is definitely quick. He has a good leap, not weak but not the strongest this can be worked on. His finishing is ok. I like his positioning especially from wide balls has a tendency to drift on to the opposite full back then attack the centre spaces. He could have scored a few more but his teammates struggled to find him.

His biggest weakness it seems is his passing it’s for the want of a better word quite simply shit. Overall I think it’s the threat he brings which will allow us to flourish. We haven’t got this type of player in the squad. Fast and mobile with good movement in the final third. He made a few runs to open the spaces.

I like this one but try this, for the pessimistic:

Love to see these stats for a player like van nistelrooy when he was in the premier League

Would probably make him look like the worst player ever

One of his very first admirers was the Vice President of his former club Simba SC, Geofrey Nyange who believes Samatta was destined for greatness owing to his hard working attitude and discipline. Nyange was quoted as saying, “I am not surprised that he is doing very well in the top league competition of Europe because I know Samatta very well. I am the one who signed him for Simba in 2010 and also, I am the one who sold and escorted him to TP Mazembe. He is a player with good discipline, seriousness and a determined attitude.”

He even played for Simba SC, that’s a sign that we should be going with my Hakuna Samatta chant if I’ve ever seen one.

Smith seems to think that we might have a striker signed and available for Saturday, so maybe his work permit isn't going to be as much of an issue as is being reported, or there's another striker on the verge of signing, he did also say that we want more than one forward.

Where did you see that? Sounded to me like he didn’t have a clue.

I seen that too can't recall where ....problem with such quotes is the timeline ? He might have said that on Monday - personally I don't think we will have a new guy in for Saturday now.

Is it - they don't really give a toss from what I can gather ?

Why is it important ?

How do you gather they don't give a toss?

Salah, Mane, Mahrez will all be playing in this tournament. I guess it's important because they are representing their country.

I think you need to do some proper research before continuing with this. You're coming across very misinformed.

If it was such a big tournament I wouldn't need to research it.

Can only imagine the interplay between him, Nakamba and Luiz. Lol

That's a spot in the Simpsons for sure.
