Our fans were incredible, heard them every minute of the game. 
 

Shame we let them have a sloppy goal, but a draw away in the first leg is a very good result against a very good team.

Gave MOTM to Mings but Nyland also incredible!

It wasn’t pretty but very effective. Perfect game plan executed nearly perfectly but for a moment of madness when we thought we could play it around again. Mings is just unbelievable and credit to Nyland. Very assured performance.  

This is how we have to play against the top teams. Especially away from home. Gutted we didn’t win but tie poised nicely for the second leg.

If you hate Smith: shit performance, we invited the pressure in the second half and got punished for his tactical naivety.

If you have a modicum of realism: an absolutely superb performance with no recognised striker, third choice keeper, away from home against a very good side. Great fight and besides a niggle to El Ghazi, looks like we survived without any injuries.

Bodes well for a real scrap against City on Sunday.

Good result. Another concerning half of backs to the wall defending, but we didn't crumble, and we are still unbeaten using the 3-4-3 formation.

Imagine how good we'll be when we bring in Gestede, Rodriguez and Joe Hart.

Our fans were in good voice, but choose to give that Konsa chant am outing again. **** embarrassing.

Grealish, nyland and Mings were great.

Nakamba and Luis were appalling.

Everyone else was somewhere in-between.

Gave Mings MOTM but Nyland was really good. Not sure we need to look outside the club to replace Heaton?

Superb defensive performance apart from that ridiculous goal we gave away.  So sloppy.

Nyland, Mings, Hause and Konsa were great (goal aside).  Guilbert suits that role too.

Neil Taylor is shit.  We should nickname him Araf.

Danny Drinkwater will walk into this midfield.

I'd have snapped your hand off for 1-1 before the game.
