Hopefully he’s learning that he isn’t the finished article and has a lot of hard work to do . He should come back tougher mentally, possibly physically but a few months of not being everyone’s best boy might be good for him.

Agree, he's probably also learning how hard you need to work to get into a team and how important it is to take opportunities, however small. I'd also recall in Jan however.

Shouldn't deal with Ipswich again while the current management is in place.

Why? Because they’re not playing one of our players who probably isn’t up to the level they require?

Take the claret and blue specs off. It might be that he’s just not that good.

What an absurd waste of our players time. Paul Cook is a manager to be avoided.

yet Seamus Coleman, Ivan Toney and Reece James became better players under his management

Presumably because they loaned him, told us he'd play a lot, and then signed two players in the same position that would be expected to start over him.

When he joined Ipswich, wasn't it pointed out that they had five or six strikers on their books? Maybe Mile (if he signs-off on loans) misjudged this one.

If he can’t get a game at Ipswich, bring him back and send him out again to a national league team. If he is as good as everyone says he will play every game and get used to the nitty gritty of professional football, score goals and develop the skills to survive which perhaps he is currently lacking. There is no doubting some of his skills are top level for a teenager but perhaps they are so good that others have been neglected in his development. Time to do the ugly stuff.

Not even getting a chance in a 1st round FA Cup game against Oldham. He's going to play no football for half a season, I don't buy into the 'this is good for him' bollocks. It's a complete waste of time.

Ipswich can **** off.
