Boy we needed that. Good display and fair play to Smith for getting a response from the players.  Wesley having a great game and gets injured. Kodija at the moment probably one of worst player I’ve ever seen at villa.  Mings so important to us. Grealish just world class.

Fair play to Dean and everyone on here who called for 3 in the back. In the future a Konsa, Engels, and Ming's back line is a rock for away games. 

Also you could tell Ming's isnt completely healed from that hamstring but he gutted it out for the full 90. Love the big man.

It was decent. We bossed the game in the first half and should have been 3-0 up by half-time at the very least. We fell asleep a bit second half, but Burnley came out all guns blazing which we should have expected.

I think provided teams don't figure us out too quickly then we could ride this formation to several much needed wins. Our biggest issue was injuries to Wesley (who played well) and Heaton.

It depends on how serious the injuries to Wes and Heaton are to just how good that result was, but feels great to get the 3 points away from home!

Absolutely shocking performance by the officials. That Mee should have been sent off, he has probably broken Wesleys ankle, blatantly scissored him yet not even a check.

There was a push on Trezeguet in the first half in the box too that wasnt even checked. We played well attacked brilliantly especially in the first half second half we defended well and should have scored on the counter a few times.
