Must not lose this!

Lose here, and the teams confidence will disappear, and i'd fear for the following games.  I think this one is so important that a loss in this one could see us ultimately relegated.  Confidence would be so low, i think we'd struggle to get any points in this easier run of fixtures.

A draw or win here, and we will survive.

I'd probably go this as well. Luiz/Hourihane is kinda coin toss, but I think Hourihane has a bit more experience with English cloggers than Luiz.

TBH, I think the selection is pretty straightforward. Luis is probably a better player than Hourihane but right now we need his set pieces and the fact I think he’ll sweat more for the cause.

Dropping Wesley is obvious. There is not one person I speak to that wants him anywhere near the team.

You do know that players are injured right?

Luiz and Nakamba? When has those two playing together ever worked?

The short answer is never.

I want to see Hause, Lansbury and Kodjia get game time.

Heaton

Guilbert Engels Konsa Hause

Lansbury Connor Nakamba

El Ghazi Kodjia Grealish

Subs: Steer, Luiz, Chester, McGinn, Youth Striker, Wes, Trezeguet

Won't happen though, I expect enforced defensive changes only and the weekly random merry go round of who plays out of Nakamba, Luiz and Connor.

Going to be a tough one this - Sheffield are a well drilled unit, have a decent record in the league now and seemingly know how to play well together as a team. That is helped by not having to sign a dozen or more players in one window, and reflects the relative 'order' at our respective clubs over the last 7 months.

It's my birthday tomorrow, so hopefully the team can garner us with a victory, but I am braced and clenched for a bumming quite frankly.

For Me I would go:

---heaton---

Guilbert---engels---Hause---Targett (if healthy Hause if injured)

------------------------Luiz------------------------

------Hourihane---------Grealish---------

---El Ghazi-------Wes---------Trez------

Couple of controversial decisions: McGinn dropped so he is fully fit for the next 3. Wesley is still playing because they have overlapp Cbs and kodjia won't track them. I also think we may have a lot of possession and I think that plays well with wesley.

El ghazi and Trez too attack in behind and take advantage of their big Cbs. Grealish back in midfield hopefully with morr passing options than last time we saw him there.

I think 2-1 Villa with a goal from Grealish and Ghazi.

I’m just praying we don’t lose this one. I work in Sheffield and I’m surrounded by Blades fans, there’s one other Villa fan in the company and probably a hundred of them. It would be nice to have the bragging rights for once.

No worries... Have they won the European Cup?? 😉

Newcastle tried to do that job to us and we bent them over a barrel.

Does that mean we're actually good?

It means in that game we was..... we worked hard.
