McGinn had a poor game but some of the comments in that match thread 😂. Some have short memories.

First half was poor. Disrupted by injuries before game and during. Second half starting Taylor vs. Adama you fear the worst but thought we gave a good account considering. We had more ball and created more chances. At least we went for it a bit more. Wolves have had a settled team and system for 3 years, we dont. Missing big players always meant we were unlikely to get the result. 2-1, not to fussed. Lick our wounds now and get everyone fit a massive set of games that will define our season.

We're 17th, 4pts clear with Newcastle at home next. Id have taken that.

Just now, jim said:

He was fine today. Certainly no worse than Targett.

The bits I saw he was, as usually, complete shit.  And that's the problem. He's a player that will play alright for parts of the game, then always and absolutely **** always have a brainfart and lose you point. Shit player.

Didn't bother watching because you could see this result coming without Jack, Heaton and Engels. Wolves in reasonable form, at home against us, it was pretty much a banker. As Terry said this week, just one of those losses we have to 'accept' this year. I advise the rest of you to adjust accordingly, or you are going to be in for a hell of a lot of pain.

3 points and the gap is widening above us and if we play like that Newcastle beat us.

Harsh on taylor.

He did better in the one on ones than target. target was being destroyed first half. only adama's awful crossing kept us in the game.

if people give taylor the ball back he's got no choice but to push up. mcginn gave him a poor ball to run on to.

both wingers were so awful.

neves's goal - why leave someone who can knock it free on the edge of the box? souness said the same at half time.

a terrible performance.

terrible subs by smith lansbury should of replaced luiz who doesn't want to be here.

Comments.

1. We’re dreadful without Grealish.

2. None of our players can shoot.

3. Wesley is just so bad.

4. Our wingers aren’t good enough. They each show glimpses but on the whole they aren’t good enough. Both need replacing.

5. Defensively we look good enough to stay up. Targett and Guilbert aren’t world beaters but that back 4 gives us a solid base to build.

6. Konsa looked impressive.

7. Douglas Luiz continues to frustrate. Nowhere near as good as I thought he’d be.

8. When is Grealish back?

9. We really miss Grealish.

Nope, short ball from McGinn and then Luiz can take most of the fault for the remaining. Luiz and McGinn were easily our worse players today.

No that was Taylor like the poster said.  He bottled the ball he should've had when we were attacking and that started their counter attack.
