I've been wondering if it might be worth recalling O'Hare, he has more experience of playing as a striker than Vassilev does, and can also offer an extra option out wide or as an attacking midfielder, would be a shame really but ideally we could do with the extra player. Was looking on a Coventry forum and was surprised to see a few of them saying he looks like their best player since Maddison, was surprised as he's not a guaranteed starter for them.

Just seen that Coventry have hijacked small heath's move for Bright Enobakhare, he was on loan last season at Coventry and played as an attacking midfielder, so O'Hare affectively replaced him in the summer.

Even though there were clearly two teams who did worse........but ours was worse........makes total sense, as per.

Yeah I think so. I know others got lower points but that season we were a disgrace and the money we spent in previous years and especially wages can't even be compared to what derby and Sunderland had.

Not really relevant though. Don't get too defensive, you know bruce wasn't manager

How hard can it be to bring players in?

We are talking about a striker that will serve as backup until the end of the season. He can be old, he can be a loan he can be whatever. He just needs to be better than AEG as a striker.

Even loaning Benteke and paying 100% of his wages between now and the end of the season would just cost around £2m.

Except that Hodgson never had any interested in letting him go...

Crazy. We've just let the defender that's been on our bench last few games leave whereas teams like palace and chelsea keep their squad depth.

Again compare resources.

It's why Leicester's title win isn't viewed the same as when man city win it.

I don't think anyone is calling that Leicester City side the greatest ever in the Premier League.

with Chester gone, are we really only going to stay with 4 CBs when we currently play a back 3? (promote youth to the bench?)

good luck to Chezzy, but to not bring another in?, blimey guv'nor.

A bold strategy.
