Good player in his day but probably the wrong side of his best now

Won the World Cup 18 months ago and is not afraid to make a dirty tackle.

17 days left, plenty of time.

🙄 I'm assuming theres a certain amount of irony in this post.

If we go into the next 2 games against Brighton and Watford without a striker, imo we will more than likely lose them. Games to close relegation rivals which we just cannot afford to lose.

If we lose these, even at this stage, i think we can kiss goodbye to the Premiership and that doesn't really bare thinking about with all the consequences that that will bring.

Thats why the 3rd richest owners in the league need to bankroll this and do whatever is needed.

We really need somebody in place who can play up front before Saturday

Club are in no mood to be ripped off in the search for a striker, if need be we've still got Hogan, Hepburn-Murphy, Kodjia and Davis to call on. Smith will just get on with it and give it his best.

Giroud was available at Chelsea & we ended up with Drinkwater...

Do Galatasaray have any old drunks that haven't played football for a couple of years?

The issue with that is (if reports/rumours are to be believed) that we are very very close to the FFP limit, and so cannot spend anymore even if the owners were willing to pump in cash.

Taking a closer look at Hogan's stats for this season, in the league he's played 574 minutes worth of football, that the equivalent of just over six games, during which he's scored twice and also assisted a goal. In a struggling Stoke team, that's not bad going. Sometimes in the forest you can't see the jungle for the trees.

Your name should be madness. Or insanity. Or nonsense.
