Though this season has seen Aston Villa pick up only two Premier League (PL) clean sheets, Villa have at least started well, with seven first-half clean sheets in eight games. The hosts have been leading at the break in five of those eight games, but have dropped eight points from winning positions. Also of significance is the fact that Villa have conceded ten of the 12 PL goals scored against them after the break. It's Your Round Posted October 18, 2019 Share Posted October 18, 2019 I’m quite happy with his general play, he passes well, has plenty of energy, gets forward at every opportunity and has a great attitude. I will caveat that by saying DM isn’t his best position, as he’s weak in the tackle, not the best at closing down and can often be bypassed easily. When he’s played further forward and given more licence to attack, I think he’s capable of making the step up to Premier League.
