Especially when the Palace players take his leg not once but TWICE before losing balance and going down. Friend really is so fuckign bad its unreal. This has to go to the FA. Complaint has to be made. It has to.

Didn't see the game but surprise surprise sounds like we got **** over by referees once again.

Although we really should be doing better anyway. Hate playing Palace tbh.

Are retrospective bans for referees a thing? Because they been to be. Disgusting performance. That was a "dive" from the ref. Bottled playing advantage for the goal so instead of giving a free kick and incensing the Villa players he decides to book Jack to circumvent all of that.

I didn't think you stopped the game for a dive - not that I am convinced it was a dive - hed already played the ball.

Ref is a disgrace.

That said, it was a poor display, poor awareness, poor discipline, poor tactically. First 6 pointer lost this season.

Where the **** was VAR??? Friend is an absolute joke of an official.

 

I mean, we were still shit and on balance deserved a loss but to have a goal cross off for no good reason in the 96th minute is absolutely disgusting.

Two things are true at the same time:

We were awful before and after the red card, and deserved nothing from a game. We were worrying levels below a fellow relegation candidate.

The ref was appalling, he booked Grealish for passing to Lansbury, 4 fouls per side in the first half - 0 yellows for them, 4 for us.

Jack has to realise that he has been branded as a diver, but beyond that our team looked like a bunch of schoolboys today, nobody was up for the physical battle apart from maybe McGinn. Really need to step it up a gear and understand things are different this year.
