Thankfully as it's PayPal and they always side with the buyer, I just raised a case and got my cash back eventually (though not before being made to wait the longest possible time with no response from Sony as the seller, fairly certain they probably didn't even bother to look at the case at all). This kinda BS makes me want to switch back to Xbox when the next gen rolls around, but then again I've at least managed to keep the same PS4 running and not have to replace it three times like I did with the 360 and I'm under no illusion that they're all as grubby as each other. I wish they could add a 2 stage purchase, so if I buy something just send me a code via text to input or something to confirm. Would have stopped it. How easy that'll be will depend on whether it was a debit or credit card that was used to pay, normally credit cards are easier to do chargebacks on but you can request them on either (though I've seen some high street banks try and fob people off by saying you can't do chargebacks on a debit card, which is a lie, in those instances the cashier either doesn't want the hassle or is just uninformed). I get they have tried to make it more manual but that doesn't mean that your defenders should just stand and watch attackers players go past them if I'm controlling someone else. Fully manual defending is impossible because you can only control one player at a time. Same with when you have the ball. Random changes of direction, stopping of runs, random falling over. Also AI can switch direction 10 times a second with the ball sticking like glue. Whereas Dan Burn is outpacing El Ghazi on the wing. StefanAVFC Posted March 4, 2020 Share Posted March 4, 2020 It was never this bad. I played Man City on World class, as Villa. They scored a goal where they played about 10 passes, 1 touch each. Before I bought it I played some games with friends at work and it feels like a totally different game when playing with CPU on CM. Honestly, your players just stand there waiting to be selected when defending. As you can imagine, it means your opponent just runs past them until you can switch and you're 5 yards behind/ Garbage and they're making billions from idiots playing FUT. When you play against other people, when defending you still only control 1 player at a time so why does the AI on your team act so differently? Okonokos Posted March 6, 2020 Share Posted March 6, 2020 (edited) FIFA 20 is absolutely beyond awful. Hands down the worst football game I've ever played. The other day I decided to give my Fortuna Dusseldorf career mode on FIFA 18 another go and I've got addicted to it. 18 was actually the last good game they made. Really enjoyable. For what it's worth, I gave up with 20 when I actually managed to break clear of the AI defence and was one on one, only for my striker to sprint past me and stop in my path, knocking me over and losing the ball. Anyway, made my Villa career save. Used my Sugar Daddy add on >_> Brought in Chiesa to satisfy the board target, then also got in Armini for the bench, Cavaminga as a rotation option and Boadu for the same. (Used the kitty bonus at the start of the career) Reina, Guilbert, Mings, N’Dicka, Taveres, Neuhaus, Valverde, McGinn, Chiesa, Boadu, Wesley Bournemouth brought Jack for 41m.
