To be honest, as hard as the back 5 worked, I think it'd have been robbery if we got a point there.

They battered us, and we have their abysmal finishing to thank for the score being as flattering as it was. Kane should have had 4. They could have very easily been one up in the first 20 seconds. Plus that hilarious shot 1 on 1 outside the 6 yard box that went out for a throw...

Very disappointed with Jack, he needs to learn from that, and fast. He's lucky he only cost us one goal, he almost cost us in the first half losing the ball deep in our first half by dicking about like he's playing against Rotherham instead of CL finalists.

We got away with a lot of sloppiness, and it's clear they're on another level to us. Fortunately, most teams aren't as good as Spurs.

Bit worse than I thought it would be if I'm honest.

1) A loss here today doesn't bother me. We went into the lion's den and we didn't come back as total slaughter. We can improve from here. I enjoyed that.

2) Credit to Taylor and Elmo, and Deano. I don't rate either of them, but they were very good today (a few minor mistakes).

3) Hourihane had an okey match. He does some stuff very good, but I just can't handle him at DMC. He simply lacks the ball winning capabilities, acceleration, urgency, tenacity. And when they move past him any mistake can have huge consequences. Just too soft, too slow. 

4) The only mistake I can point out Deano did today was getting Kodjia on. In such a match where we are pinned back to such a degree, you need a big ass strong bastard who can win the ball, hold it up and take off some pressure. That man is not Kodjia. Thought he was poor in general as well.

5) Engels or Mings MOTM. Both were **** superb. Can't decide really. 

6) Heaton will win us a lot of points for sure. 

7) The players are a bit naive in possession. Jack, Jota and a few others gifted them the ball on occations simply because they think they have eons of time on the ball. 

8 ) How embarrassingly shit are the spurs fans though. Either their support is **** disgraceful and beyond dog shit or that stadium has the worst sound engineering in the world. Heard them three times in 90 minutes. 

9) Surprised VAR didn't check the Grealish contact prior to their goal. I don't think it was a foul at all, but just surprised they didn't check it. 

10) Roll on next weekend.

Fairly clear the players we suspected aren't at this level are not at this level.

Couldn't keep the ball for 10 seconds. Spurs are a good side but that was an embarrassment.

Can’t understand the above comments. That was a good performance with a team that isn’t full strength agains the team that finished fourth and were runners up in the CL and have improved since then!!!

Going to be a long season. 

We weren't very good but it was at Spurs.

Regardless of the result, I think we can be proud of what we did for 70 minutes there. 

Heaton, Mings and Engels look class and we won’t be under pressure like that every week. 

Unfortunately Jack gave the ball away for their first two goals but if we can play like that every week, we’ll be ok!!

I don’t think that we will have any real issues this season. We are a hard to to break down.

I worry about the goals that we can score.

Disappointed by the result but I am very encouraged.

Disappointing but let's write it off and concentrate on beating the likes of Southampton, Everton, Burnley etc and finishing mid table.  I'll take that first season back.
