Only mentioning the likes Gana, Petrov and Angel is cherry picking. He went on strike because he felt he was being unfairly treated by the manager. It is believed the manager was getting paid to play another midfielder over him. So it is hardly unreasonable to want to get out of an undoubtedly toxic environment. HanoiVillan Posted August 5, 2020 Share Posted August 5, 2020 I keep seeing people in the Transfer Thread saying they want to sign a large number of players . . . well there's a maximum squad size so if we are going to sign people we may also need to move people on, and as easy as it is to type 'sell Lansbury' I doubt anyone who could afford him would want him. Fair enough, but that requires both a club to be interested in a guy who has barely kicked a first team football for three years, and for the player to want to go on loan. We don't have to put him in the squad even if he plays for us. Personally I think someone will take a risk on Lansbury (at least forest) he clearly has the ability just not the physicality to make it in the prem he is even slower than hourihane. He showed enough for me to warrant another season, can only improve after him and the squad have settled more.
