meregreen
Just a very average player. We need better, or we will, and are, going to go backwards.
Tommo_b
These average players took us up a level... for this season, now we need to go up another level. Hoping for a good transfer window or a few of the next Generation of Grealishs to come out of the academy.
Popular Post Herman22
Just saw online Marv has paid for 1,000 kids to go to school in Zimbabwe through his foundation. What an amazing thing to do, congrats Marvelous! Edited April 14, 2021 by Herman22 18

lexicon
Had a bad game today. Not easy to deal with Foden but his marking today was totally off - lacking concentration and struggling with the zonal system.
villa4europe
So far off the pace it was alarming, they ghosted past him with ease, movement and passing bamboozled him but most worrying they had far more energy than him too Gundogan more energy and quicker than Nakamba, that can't happen but he couldn't track him
supermon
Needs to be sold in Summer, just doesn't offer anything, there are better players that can offer protection but can do other parts of the game like passing forward
sparrow1988
Only saw the first half but he wasn't very good at all. He broke the line to pressure the player in posession a lot of times but the other two in midfield didn't press as well so it just left a hole for a City player to move in to the space that he was in. I thought at first that it was the fault of McGinn and Dougie but they never went so I assume that it was Marv losing his positional discipline. He created so much space for players who need very little space to play.

Zatman
early mistake which put down to rustiness but very very good, Spurs did nothing in midfield
sheepyvillian
I actually missed the game because Villa were on Sky main event and not Sky Premier league. Gutted to miss that victory, but chuffed we beat them and delighted Marvellous had a good game, no one deserves it more.
ROTTERDAM1982
Good honest pro, always puts a shift in, might be limited, we need better, but allowed better players around him to play. Probably MOM for me, although Mings and McGinn played well, and SJG was the best player on the pitch
lexicon
The mistake for the goal was rancid, plus he gave it away in the box again in the 2nd half when Son got it away from him - but, there were a lot of good things about the performance too. He's not as good as Luiz but is definitely good enough as back-up.

Even Jack felt comfortable passing to him he usually ignores him unless he has to pass it to him.
