Popular Post VillaChris
God bless Trez. What a trier he was. Worth the money alone for that volley v Arsenal. He skies that and we lose 100ms of income and who knows where we'd be now, certainly not as high as we are in the prem. I have soft spots for him and El Ghazi. They may not have reached the heights many demanded when they signed but they were honest and willing and both scored some really critical goals in that 2019-21 period to get us where we wanted to be.
Tommo_b
Trezeguet and El Ghazi…. Work horses for sure, did what we needed at the time so for me, always have a soft spot for them… as it seems so does the club.

The club know they contributed the crucial goals at the critical times. The fans do too. The place we find ourselves is a sequence of thousands of events, but they're key to a couple of the most recent pivotal moments.

Popular Post Villan_of_oz Posted 15 hours ago VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted 15 hours ago (edited) A much maligned player, who was definitely limited in certain aspects of his play. Where he was not limited in anyway was with the heart, passion and fight he played with. On this day 4 years ago he scored one of goals (and he did score quite a few) that inevitably allowed us to stay up in that mental Covid season. I will always remember Trez with fond memories, not because he was an excellent player, but because he always played with an excellent attitude. Edited 2 hours ago by Villan_of_oz The match did not happen on this day in 2020, I was incorrect

We have come a long way but it's always important to acknowledge why and who helped us get here.

There was a crowd so last match before lockdown? I just checked and you are correct! I wish I could whose page posted it, but it definitely said on this day in 2020... I am very cynical person, I don't like that I didn't research this before posting I'm happy to be corrected, now I am going to find the post, check the opponent and find the fixture...
