Think he deserves a lot of credit tonight for slotting in at right back and played well up against a tricky player like Son.

Honestly, haven't seen Son this quiet all season.

E. Another Smith masterstroke.

Thought he was brilliant at RB, Son barely did anything and he was calm on the ball.

Perhaps could shift priorities and just look to get in another good CB and just shift Ez to RB when Cash isn't available?

With him, Mings, new CB and Hause that's a strong set for next season.

Most definitely a good option to have at RB when in a pinch or against better teams,  contributed attacking wise well to tbf, Apparently Engles is settled in Birmingham and his kids are attending school ect not sure if he’ll move on and might be happy being the backup cb that doesn’t get a sniff? But It might all very well be bs and he’s off

Can't see any point in keeping Engels around. If he's settled in the area just see if any of West Brom, Stoke or Forest want him for a couple of million.

I expect another Konsa type to come in as CB option in the summer tbh, someone initally who'll be back up with potential to quickly develop into first team option once they get games.

Mings, Konsa, Cash, Targett, Hause, Engels - 6 players.

No more Taylor or Elmo.

So need 1 more defender plus keep Engels to have enough defenders for the season.

I thought he was fine, Pulisic barely had a kick first half.

Most of Chelsea's best first half moves actually started from Targett's side.

Have no issue whatsoever if he's filling in at RB for games Cash isn't around for if it's like this season and only 5-6 games. Would mean we can direct more funds for signings in final third.
