When you think of where their players came from, the management team have taken them and turned them into World Champions.

Robertson from Hull, Van Dijk from Celtic, Gomez from Charlton, Henderson from Sunderland, Wijnaldum from Newcastle, Lallana and Mane from Southampton, Salah from Roma (previously shown the exit door at Chelsea) etc.

It's not like Liverpool have been taking players from the very best clubs around Europe or England. They've taken good players from less glamorous clubs and made them look unbeatable.

They’ve coached them well, but let’s not forget they paid a lot of money for most of these

Van Dijk was signed from Southampton

One thing I’ve noticed is all teams seem to want to play this passing from the back high press game like City and Liverpool too but they are all crap at it. The players aren’t good enough and they just end up losing position and putting pressure on themselves.

I think there is going to be a change where clubs are going to go back to the basics with a bigger focus on defence. We’ll see more back 5’s too.

First and foremost Clear your f**king lines!

Injuries really starting to become a factor now.

Starting to pile up for some clubs (us included I guess)

Bournemouth has a ton of injured defenders and Norwich has a bunch of players out as well. Palace also has some issues.

Newcastle by far the worst, they have something like 15 players out injured or carrying knocks.

Can only assume that agent Clark is doing his thing and injuring players in training left and right while Bruce does his thing in rushing them back as soon as they are out of ER

Bournemouth vs Watford, we hoping for a draw or is Watford too good to be down here anyway so might as well win?

Don't want Bournemouth to win.

Always a draw. Let’s have two relegation rivals drop two points, not anyone gain three. Or to put another way - a draw means our rivals get a total of two points, a win means a total of three.

Watford aren’t as bad as they looked earlier in the season but they will be in the mix.

Plus a draw and us not conceding three vs City keeps us out the relegation zone which means less panic attacks on here for the next week!

Bournemouth look completely devoid of any creative talent.  When you look at their transfer activity you can see why. 19 million for Solanke and his one assist over 1200 league minutes.  15 million for Jordan Ibe.  Then you have David Brooks out for the season. They are in real trouble.

Oh dear young Bournemouth keeper gifting Watford a goal.

But again why are they passing it around in the own area when there’s a watford player pressing? Teams need to accept their limitations. Bloody clear it!!

It’s infuriating. No wonder Liverpool find it so easy.

With Ryan Fraser not signing a new contract and not even close to reaching the heights he did last season.

A draw in the Bournemouth v Watford game is clearly the best result for us, if that happens then we only have to avoid losing by three goals or more to Man City to remain out of the bottom three, if Watford win then we will need a draw against Man City and if Bournemout win it will mean we will have to beat Man City to keep out of the relegation zone. That plus both of them have some winnnable games coming up, so we could really do with them both dropping points.

Don't be fooled though. No two ways about it - Klopp has been bankrolled - it gets less press coverage but Liverpool s expenditure is pretty close to that of Man City over the past 3 or 4 seasons.  - Sure they have been well coached (how hard can it be)

Without that massive expenditure on players - Liverpool would be also rans.

I was wondering what was going on with Fraser.  Just going through their past fixtures and they desperately need to bring in some attacking options.  In October they had 3 games and scored 0 goals. In December they had 6 games and scored 2 goals. That type of ineptitude in attack will keep them in the relegation battle all season.

Solanke has to be one of the worst purchases in history. Have never seen anything from him to suggest he's a Premier League striker.

Just think, Solanke has an England cap and Jack doesn't. Crazy.

It’s true. But they were quite fortunate with sales. I don’t think their net spend is that high.
