PPG is not really a fair indicator as it doesn't bring into level of competition.

About 7 years ago Norwich would have stayed up on PPG not taking into account last 4 games was a ridiculous run in like City, Chelsea, United and Arsenal

Doesn't make it any less true.

We are 19th because we are the 2nd worst team in the league. And for this game in hand, the Blades are very likely to beat us, they are better than us in all areas and is fighting for top 4.

Our run in is brutal and we'll have to see something we've not seen so far this season. Winning a game against a big side.

We'll have to see something new from Dean. If he try to play like he did against Spurs at home we are down.

And don't forget we lost twice to tiny, little Bournemouth.

He ain't wrong though guys, as much as you try polish it, we have been rubbish. no way have we been playing to our full potential, an unless Smith comes up with some miracle he has thought about while we have been off, we are down boys

The results speak for themselves, any half decent team we can expect 4 goals or more against us, an we have definitely digressed, due to the fact Smith's tactics have been "get it to Grealish", which teams just now man mark him and Smith don't seem to have no answers.

What is our potential? We have 4 maybe 5 Premier League quality players in our entire squad.

We are a Championship team on paper

The first game of the season, Tottenham, should have built on that, yeah it was a loss in the end but showed what we could have been. Liverpool game wasn't bad and recently Watford was a good win. Just proves the team is capable.

Always looks to me when we lose, we ain't really trying.

We need to be better than the sum of our parts (same as all teams) but for the most part this season we have not sadly. It's not been good enough.

It's the same as under Bruce (but in a different way), 11 players on the pitch but not a team. It's not clicking, or at least very seldom. Obvious mitigating reasons for that which some choose to ignore but still.

If it does restart it will be interesting to see the how serious the players have been in following their fitness routine. Guys like Luiz Suarez, Trez and shockingly Drinkwater look ripped but among others Jadon Sancho looks like he's been eating fried Mars-bars and playing FIFA the whole time. Guy looks chubby :D

Desire, squad dept and fitness levels will play a huge part and I hope our guys are up for it. Also hope there will be no more games this season for health and safety reasons obviously.

Maybe but the ones that are pro void on here have been telling us all along that there is no way the season will restart, yet now its almost certain it will so I don't believe it when people say theres no way they can relegate us. they can and they will! so lets take our chance on the pitch rather than the courtroom.

I suspect that most of us didn't really think that the PL would restart, with the rest of the country still in partial lockdown, with hundreds of people still dying every day, with empty stadiums and with players/officials using tests/PPE, that could otherwise be used by the NHS/carers. It hasn't started yet and it still has the players, the PFA and a possible spike, that could stop it, where "integrity" and morals didn't.

You are right, they can and will relegate us. Fair doesn't seem to matter to them. They would even look to promote a third team from the Championship via the playoff's, if they can't finish their season, because those games are money spinners, so they will prioritise them and because somehow that represents "integrity" to them.

If we do restart, the final games won't give a true reflection of how the season would have finished, with home advantage gone and with games being played between relegation threatened clubs, and teams who are on the beach or severely weakened. If the season doesn't restart or is only part completed, relegation will be determined on a guesstimate of how results might have gone.

Why not have the top three play the bottom three instead? That would make them money too, it would be fairer and there is a precedent. In the first two playoff seasons (1986-87 & 1987-88), the 3rd, 4th & 5th placed Division 2 clubs, went into playoff games with the club that finished 4th bottom of Division 1 (4 clubs went down or none were promoted as a result of those play off games to bring Division 1 down from 22, to it's present 20 clubs). At the moment, those play off games would be Norwich vs Leeds, Bournemouth vs Fulham and Villa vs WBA!

If only there was some reasoning behind the points made. It does get tiresome really fast with people who are totally resistant to information and facts. Speaking in general terms here.

If you ask a question and then have it answered then at least take in that answer, even if you don't agree with the answer. Don't go blurt out the same nonsensical statements again a day later as if it hadn't been answered 10 times by different posters. That's why people think someone might be trolling for lol's.

Or from a glass half full point of view,  we are very nearly half a Premier League team on paper? ;)

Of course but copy and pasting the same post 22 times a day is a tad boring 😜
