Safari advert issue

Issue with intrusive adverts on safari using an iphone Limpid. Taking over the screen so having to close and reopen. Had to give up and test on Android (chrome browser), not had the issue so far whilst writing this. 

Clearing the cache on safari had no impact.

As always with these rogue ads, they will fix themselves.

Did using chrome on the iphone fix the problem?

You haven't had the same. This report is about safari and you are not running safari on android. If you are currently seeing an issue then as the red ink at the top of the forum says, start a new thread for a new problem - and answer the questions listed at the top of the forum.
