Can anyone quite believe that we are back in the Premier League? We will be playing Manchester United, Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham next season. 

Yup, that's what that game means. It's not just winning a game, it's a ticket back into the big league. 

More importantly, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham will be playing Aston Villa next season.

I think we will understand with hindsight that three years of pain was what was needed to set up the circumstances that we got promoted in a far stronger position than we possibly have ever been in. Thank God we didn’t bounce back and circle the drain again. Thank God we have serious backers owning the club with a plan. 

I feel the pain is over, the future feels very exciting.....
