Seems a really bizarre move for the player or Chelsea to want to do. £8m too, he was £50m not long ago. Very odd. He was left on the bench for their last friendly (Lampard played Zouma and Christensen) and wasn't happy apparently. Guess he feels he won't be part of Lampard's plans as a first choice so dosen't want to spend season bench warming and gets to still live in London (I read he actually commuted a lot on eurostar when he played for PSG).
