I don’t disagree with much of that, but I can’t agree with the bit in bold. We were the better team over two games.

Agree with this. Full credit to West Brom for fighting like tigers and making it really close.

But they were always the inferior side and the two key sendings off they picked up were indicative of how much they were having to stretch to match us.

It doesn't matter now - but there is a major flaw in our game - hopefully its the players freezing - not DS loosing his marbles - couldn't quite believe how long kjodia sat on the bench.

I didn't think today was an awful performance at all. We did everything we could but they had one intention and that was to stop us from scoring, we were patient, we were probing, and if Adomah or the header at the back post had have gone in then we should have won.

What I was most pleased about is how we kept our composure and kept playing our game. The way WBA setup over the 2 legs was embarrassing and they only have themselves to blame .

3 sendings off - in 3 consecutive matches is very poor - smacks of a lack of discipline.

If DS wanted us to go to final as underdogs he has succeeded !

I have no idea what the hell just happened!?

it was always going to be tough, playing 10 men is never straight forward, conceding an early goal was always a possibility....but what the actual, were we doing with bloody corners and don’t get me started on playing out from the back at the start of the second half!!

I was hoping that Saturdays first half was our poor period of these play offs - we have to be better in the final.

Rode our luck, but we’re there. Need to recover and focus. UTV

Really seems like Albert isn't happy.  Annoyed not to start maybe?

Didn't seem that bothered when he did come on.  Told Grealish where to go after taking a poor shot.

As for the penalty, the technique was awful and lazy. Almost felt like he jogged up to the area, blasted the penalty over, then ran off down to the changing rooms!

We were easily the better side despite the labour. Wembley is at least neutral, we have a fully fit squad and are hungry after last year

thats one hell of a fast mate ! respect.

i think the main issue with our performance was how static we were.

We passed left and right and there was no movement at all, numerous times there were 4 players standing near their 18 yeard box in a line, none of them moving or stretching their defence, we were so so static.

also when we had the ball out wide, both el ghazi and adomah seemed to want to stop the ball, stand there and think about things, there was no urgency or movement.

Adomah looks about 50 snd shouldnt put the shirt on again. Been piss poor for over a year now.

Buzzin we got it done but that performance was worrying. So sloppy at the start of that second half, lucky we were up against a crap team that couldnt take advantage. And they took off all their pen takers thankfully. Credit to Jed Steer, great story for him coming back to the club and making that spot his own.

Time to regroup and iron out a lot of the rubbish from tonight. Those corners were infuriating.

Has a side ever lost back to back play off finals? No? Good.
