Okonokos
Why would we let Hogan and Green go on loan if we're not getting a winger or striker in. I know Hogan and Green are not very good options to have but they're still options.

Eastie
If we fail to get a striker in maybe we will have to look at free agents like Sturridge but would be disappointing if so . i don’t see kodjia or Davis as reliable back up options - both seem injury prone and I think we need better quality . MaVilla
I am super pleased with this transfer window, probably been the best transfer window since I started supporting villa in the early 90s. But....I will be disappointed if we don't sign at least 1 player today.

VILLAMARV
Davis is loads more useful than Hogan. I really can't see the issue there.

useless
Sturridge would be better than no one if his wages were reasonable, stay fit and he'll score more goals than any player we have in our squad. Can play as the main striker as well as a wide forward as well.

HalfTimePost
I just can't see how Dean is talking up potential for new signings on the official Twitter a few days ago and now there's nothing. Not sure I'm buying it and we'll get 1 more, maybe not the two we need but I think we get one. We never talk things up before it's done. Would be weird to do it when there's nothing coming. Still think we are a bit light up front, Wesley's goal scoring record not exactly phenomenal although i think he will be very good for us. Be great if we could get one more in but if not we've done great . No complaints here.
jacketspuds
I'm not giving up hope just yet. This window has been amazing, but I would be worried if we didn't sign another striker.

But he's had his injury problems recently and is only young still. Plus we only have 2 other strikers. I really think we need another one in. Hogan is crap but at least him being available is better than no backup option at all. Let's say Kodjia and Davis get injured and Wesley isn't as good as we're hoping. What do we do then?
