Welbeck is world class m8, 44 career goals, ex England international, still fairly young, plenty of growth, Watford got themselves a proper player. Also he has 16 international goals, against world class opposition such as San Marino, Moldova, Slovenia, Lithuania, Malta and Costa Rica, pure class this guy. We missed a trick with this, would really have been able to teach our squad a few things. If only we had signed Puncheon, Pafos FC have got themselves a real player there. Pity Palace got Cahill, another player who would have freshened up our ranks. I don't think you can call a forward world class when he has scored less than 20 goals in his last 3 seasons combined. A once promising good player? Yes. World Class?
