Dunno mate Scouts remit may not be to look at scouting in lower leagues or Scotland.

It's quite shocking in a sense.

We know that Scotland have a few hidden gems - our own John McGinn is a fine example.

Phillip Billing in summer please Villa as he wants to leave Huddersfield and in paper this morning due to receiving racial abuse on social media. he's impressed me in 2 live games i've seen of him and number of times on TV.

Imagine Mings in Defence and Billing as Defensive Central Midfielder.

Mings, Tuanzebe, Adam Masina (Bologna left back, awesome touted as future captain for them, might be a little far fetched but wouldn't cost as much as the British equivalent, would be about a third of the price!), deffo a left back maybe Alessandro Crescenzi, now at Verona, from up the road from me was on the books with Roma, caught the eye with Pescara for a couple o years 28 though now, would be cheap and kill it at this level if we don't go up. Good crosser, can play both sides.

Defensive midfielder or poss two! We'll have to replace Abraham somehow aswell. Wingers...

Lot to do.

He’s easily a PL midfielder in my opinion, excellent player

Teddy Bishop got a few minutes last night for Ipswich. He might be worth a look in the summer. Like Mings, he has had his injury issues and like Tyrone he was very highly rated a couple of years ago. Can't imagine that he wouldn't jump at the chance to be rescued from League One and the fee would not now be what it would have once been.

I was talking to a scout a few years ago who was scouting Roofe and O’Dowda at OUFC anyways he rated bishop as highly as Will Hughes at the time. Has bags of potential and with the right coaching and attitude could be developed into a great little player.

Was thinking about what we actually need for next season transfer wise (assuming two players for each position).

GK:

Kalinic

Nyland

LB:

Hause (purchase)

Taylor

CBL:

Mings (purchase at any cost!! :)

XXX - need a backup/other player/Revan?

CBR:

Chester

Elphick - Would offer a 1 yr extension so we can spend money elsewhere

RB:

Guilbert

Bree

DMC

Whelan (worth a 1 ye extension?)

XXX - New player?

MC

Grealish

McGinn

Lansbury (if we can keep him fit?)

Hourihane

AML/R

Need 2 x new players probably

O'Hare

Green

STC

Hogan

Need new first choice striker?

Overview:

So basically as a minimum we need 4 or 5 new players?

CD/DMC/AML/AMR/STC?

MaVilla, I think Smith will use and keep for these next season and some my personally option should and sell

Sorry if it is very long post.. so there a go..

Goalkeeper:

  • Kalinic, L
  • Nyland, O *(Last Chance)
  • ** New Goalkeeper **
  • Sarkic (youth)

** Non-Urgently ** if Both Nyland or Kalinic not good enough again in next season so we need find ASAP.

Full Back (Right):

  • Guilbert, F
  • Bree, J (Could be sold if Smith like De Leat once he return club)
  • **Youth Player** Jake Walker? Isaiah Bazeley-Graham? Charlie McConnachie?

Full Back (Left):

  • ****New Player****  - First Choice ((I think Henry, K is likely join us in summer))
  • Hause, K (Activation Loan to Buy - I think Smith get him even i prefer see other players come in) - Or Taylor, N
  • **Youth Player** Mungo Bridge??

****Urgently****

Centre Half:

  • Chester, J
  • Elphick, T (Extended 1 or 2 Year Contract) ** Would be ok i reckon he will ok for 1 or 2 more years to find suitable replacement for Chester and Him.
  • Mings, T (Buy)
  • **My Suggest** Barbet, Y (Free Transfer - end of contact in summer) - Or Hause, K (Activation Loan to Buy - I think Smith get him even i prefer see other players come in)
  • **New Player** for replacement Elphick if we find one.. if not give him extension
  • Raven, D (Youth)
  • Mitch, J (Youth)

Wish Keep Axel I don't think he will because Manchester Utd will keep him.

Centre Midfield:

  • Hourihane, C
  • McGinn, J
  • ****New Player****
  • Carroll, T (Activition Loan to Buy - I reckon that Smith will get him even he not play much) if not we will need other players to find to buy)
  • Doyle-Hayes (Youth)
  • Clark, J (Youth - More likely player that Doyle-Hayes as Smith style suit him more that Doyle Hayes)

****Urgently****

Attack Midfield:

  • Grealish, J
  • **New Player** - (Experience Back up to Grealish and Mentor to 2 Youths players - see below) - or Play him, Lansbury? - see below (Bottom)
  • O'Hare, C (youth)
  • Ramsey, J (youth)

** Not Urgently** - Would prefer Ethier O'Hare or Ramsey to give chance play.

Right Winger | Left Inside Forward:

  • Green, A
  • **** New Player ****
  • Blackett-Taylor, C (youth)

Left Winger | Right Inside Forward:

  • **Suggest** Either> Lolley, J or Bowen, J
  • **** New Player ****
  • Any Youth Player (left foot?) Indiana Vassilev ? Tyreik Wright?

Forward | Striker:

  • **** New Player **** Would Love get Abraham, T (I Cant see it happen, unfortunate)
  • ** New Player **
  • Davis, K (Youth)
  • Hepburn-Murphy, R (Youth)
  • **Youth Player** Sea, D or Archer, J

** Not Urgently** -  Prefer see Davis, K take 2nd choice striker as he and Abraham simpilar play style

SELL-RELEASED-RETURN CLUB:

  • Axel (Return)
  • El Ghazi (Return - he is very good player in good day and poor player in bad day so prefer see player with consisit form so best option is return him back club)
  • Hutton, A (Released)
  • Richards, M (Released)
  • Steers, J (Released - unfortunate because he will want be number 1 due his age - i would mind give him 1 year extension)
  • Albert (Sell)
  • Branjasson, B (Sell)
  • Jedinak, M (Sell) - (he want back home to Australia)
  • Whelan (sell) - ((I Think he is stay one more season unfortunate))
  • Gardner, G (Sell)
  • Tshibola, A (Sell)
  • Kodjia, J (Sell)
  • McComark (Sell)
  • Elmo (Sell)

these load players to set for sell so should add fund to buy players without problem if we fail to promotion due FFP if we promotion so we got "EXTRA" money to buy.

accord my list: 10 players - we need buy or loan to order have full strength squad (urgently - buy or loan to buy for 7 players - 6 players for first choice and 1 second choice)

Not sure if keep or Sell:

  • De Leat, R (i reckon Smith might want see him player before sell as bruce sent him on loan before smith come in if he did well so take bree place or not so sold him)
  • Lansbury ((He is injury prone - on his good day he is very good player would like keep him))
  • Hogan, S (he is might keep if he did well Sheffield united and find his form, Smith will keep him if not so sold him)
  • Taylor, N ( I not sure if he will premiership standard... he would be good back up)

I'm pretty sure De Laet's move down under becomes permanent at the end of the loan Danny.  It's a shame he never got a go with us this season when we've been so short at full back.

it is suck shame see this happen as he were good right back for us before his an injury and Bruce was wrong to sent him away loan...what is a impressive thing he in at moment; is he was covert to forward and he did brilliant in there... he deserve stay in there as he is happy in there.

I would prefer keep Bree (over Hutton and Elmo as right back) rather sent loan to ispwich but we have hutton and Elmo, understand reason to sent him to play regular first team to developed him better player to ready for us in next season.

I agree totally, but then we don't know the ins and outs of his injury, it's possible that they decided that De Laet would never make it back to full fitness.  It doesnt really make much sense otherwise (not that Bruce's decisions made much sense in that summer window anyway).  Hopefully Bree is doing well, I've not really kept much of an eye on him or Hogan.
