Its just click bait. The Galactic senate have not been informed of any bid for Konsa. If we did, it would be 20m. We dont need to sell. If we did get that price we would sell because that is our business model... Yadda yadda yadda...

Quote

Aston Villa have turned to Brentford's Ezri Konsa in their search for a third centre back addition this summer.

Villa have managed to re-sign £26.5m Tyrone Mings and £3m Kortney Hause following their loan spells last season.

They wanted to bring back Axel Tuanzebe, who also helped Villa to promotion last term, too but he has stayed with Manchester United for the time being with boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer keen to run the rule over him during United's pre-season tour.

Bristol City have put a huge £30m price tag on their centre-back Adam Webster and Smith, who has already made six summer signings, is now keen on Konsa, 21, who he is familiar from his time working with the youngster at Griffin Park.

Smith was the manager who brought highly-rated England Under-21 defender Konsa to Brentford from Charlton last June.

Brentford have already bolstered their defence twice in a hint they are preparing for life after Konsa.

They have brought in Pontus Jansson from Leeds and Ethan Pinnock from Barnsley.

Did you see konsa in the u21 tournament?, he couldn't mark a school text book.

He did look awful. Mind you, our entire defence did.

Everyone knows that the key transfers take place in Suso's S&M dungeon. The daily mail has access... Interesting! 🤔🤔🤔

could they have the key?

TBF Foden aside I thought the whole team was pretty average .... Harsh to judge him on that tournament... would rather go for Rodon @ Swansea as a young up & coming CB but as smith linked him well Konsa makes sense. With Terry & Mings teaching him & leading him he could maybe develop into a player like Axel...

When has Delph ever been a defensive midfielder out of interest, his best games for us were always as box to box midfielder (same as McGinn) with Petrov, Westwood or Carlos Sanchez as the DM in those line ups.

At Man. City he's probably played more as a left back than anywhere else, certainly under Pep.

Just don’t tell leeeeds he”s not a DM.

Socceriniho to Man City, Delph to leeeeds, Phillips to Villa. Everyone’s a winner.

Not dissing you here Chris, but I think this article is bullshit and mere fumbling in the dark by them.

The last CB we need to be signing needs to be of good, proven quality and experience.

The longer this goes on I genuinely believe we are waiting for Man Utd to return, get their descision what they intend to do with Axel and go from there.

We could go in with a big bid, agree a loan or simply be told to piss off. We will know for sure when Man Utd return.

Failing this, I would then conceed defeat and expect us to turn our attention to the next best available and sign Gary Cahill.

We need someone with leadership capabilities to compliment Mings. Both of these players do just that.

Konsa and Cahill please.

That would honestly be truly awful business. We don’t need to spend the money on both of those. More important areas to fill right now.

#AnnounceWebster

#AnnouncePhillips

#AnnounceBenrahma

#AnnounceButland

#AnnounceTrezeguet (or #Bowen, or #Lolley, or #Wilson, or #[insert good winger to challenge for a spot])

That should cost between 80m and 130m depending on if someone realistic is involved, or a BCFC/BFC fan decides on the prices.

That is all.

PS: If we signed Butland, Benrahma and Webster, we could #AnnounceBBW.

You don't think we need another CB? Or is it the quality of the CB's?

We’d do well to land one of those, supported by a couple of other CHEAP players from the continent.
