That said how much did Liverpool pay for Henderson who was from basically a championship level team 6-7 years ago. The clubs that these players are currently with know at least two things .... Villa have very rich owners .... Villa have to buy players as we do not have a full squad. Purslow will be using the fact that we have options for a number of different positions to deflate the extortionate prices we are no doubt being quoted. That may take time.
