Why don't we just call it in and forfeit the season, since almost all of our players are unproven at PL. Do we just want a revolving door of the same 'established' PL players? Every player is a gamble regardless of where you sign them from. 10m for Benrahma or 10m for say Christian Atsu, supposedly proven at PL? I know who I'd go for. You look for attributes and potential, especially when you're in our position. 20m for Maupay is hardly throwing money down the drain. The lad can play, he has everything. As long as we have a solid team to take us straight up afterwards i guess its fine.
