Annnnd they release him per his request.

Enter Belichick

Then get Gronk back around November ?

Brady gets hurt in December but  Luck comes out of retirement with a new name and a moustache   ?

Brady retires and the NFL award NE four  1st round compensatory picks ?

We all know where this is headed.

Do I need a bigger tinfoil hat?

Steelers refuse a trade with NE
Brown agrees to go to Oakland. No threat to the Steelers. All is well
Brown acts like a total cluster ****. Gets released.
NE conveniently picks him up with a ready-made contract within minutes.

This smells of last years turkey.

I do think it's just the latest example of having to doff your cap to New England. They simply never miss a trick. They're the best on and off the field. You've got to respect their thoroughness. Even if it hadn't ended like this, they had prepared for it and were ready 'within minutes' if it did. F**ksticks :)

With the benefit of hindsight it's pretty clear New England were after Ross McCormack .

Such a shame he couldn't play against the Steelers tonight.
