I would rest him for a match. Younger players often haven't learned to pace themselves over the course of the season. We've got the squad to rotate. Do it before he burns himself out. I definitely would too against Chelsea but probably bring him back fresh to play Pogba off the park next game. Well they look similar, just swap them at half time after going hell for leather first half. No one will know
wilko154
Brilliant again today, it's nice to have a midfielder who isn't afraid to drive forward with the ball. If a club were to come in for him in January for £15 million I wouldn't even consider it at this stage, which pretty much sums up the level he is now at. One of the first names on the team sheet going forward, great stuff! Edited September 18, 2021 by wilko154

Popular Post daggy_333
It's almost like all that was needed was a bit of patience with a young player who was finding his feet in the Premier League. How strange. 13
villalad21
I find it very interesting. According to reports Jacob Ramsey was never the most talented in the U23 setup. He just seem to have that fire in his belly to want to make it. Terrific attitude and work ethic, and believe me. That is one hell of an attribute. Blasterpocket68
He had a good first half today lots of energy. Didn’t see to much from him second half , but he has a great future.
MWARLEY2
Makes our midfield work. A conduit. Links play and makes bursts that speed everything up. Had an ok first half and a better second. Stealing the ball at 2 nil up he had every right to go for goal as he had made the chance himself. Wierd that his goalscoring has dried up in the 1st team when he was fantastic scoring at younger age groups and on loan at Doncaster. Hopefully the goals will come sooner rather than later
Stevo985 Posted September 18, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted September 18, 2021 Looks so much better than last season. Neat and tidy, incredibly composed. Would like to see some more incisive play from him but he's come on leaps and bounds
villakram
Growing game by game, great to watch. Hopefully everyone stays fit and we can rest him from time to time.
Zhan_Zhuang
I thought he was fantastic today. Jacob Ramsey is very quick with ball at his feet and turns so well running with the ball; he's not scared to take opposition players on.
Mantis
Maybe Grealish leaving has allowed him to thrive a bit?
rodders0223
2 footed. That's what strikes me about Ramsey after the first few games. Will go either side of a man and will let rip off either foot. Needs to add goals and assists to get the plaudits outside of VP.
messi11
If he keeps on improving he will become a very good player. Looking forward to seeing him in the U21 set up

Popular Post nepal_villan
If we acquired Smith-Rowe and he played like this in his first 5 matches, we would all be saying it was 30M well spent!

Maybe he’ll think twice about flying to Argentina for a couple of training sessions next time.
