Amazingly bad performance, no idea how the side who played Derby/Middlesborough could have got this bad so quickly. Could barely put two passes together. It was as though every single player was stoned don’t know how better to describe it. Wigan are a League One side and they absolutely destroyed us.

To call it worrying is an understatement.

Smith looks livid. As well he might. That was terrible, our main strengths under Smith, possession, movement, winning the ball high up the pitch and making chances, were all absent. He needs backing heavily for us to be able to do anything this season. If not then he needs backing heavily in the summer so when all those huge contracts expire he can get a team together.

It's taken 2 or 3 injuries for us to fall apart. When does Grealish get back?

Very poor performance.

It would be harsh to pick out individual performances after the whole team were awful, but Taylor is the worst "footballer" ever to play for us

Hause looks terrible, very awkward on the ball and likes to lump it. Lets hope its a Ugo style debut where he goes on to prove everyone wrong after an awful debut.

Want to have a go at Whelan as well, but that was never a penalty.

Absolutely awful.

There's no fight in us - the best thing Smith could do right now is wander into the dressing room and start swinging.

Unacceptable performances all over the pitch and what's worse we have no real alternatives in the areas we're weakest.

Wigan walked it.

No spirit, no fight, no effort, no plan, no confidence, nothing. We were empty. I'm embarrassed.

Hard to see an immediate way out of this problem.

Season over.

we should just drop anyone who we dont expect to be here next season, promotion is gone, and even if it isnt, i dont want us getting promoted with this horse s*** team.

We need to start developing now for next season, and then hopefully get some new players in this Jan and closed season.

We should be starting Kalinic, Chester, Hause (im sure he will improve), McGinn, Davis, and any other players who we can develop in our expected style of play.

No offence to bloasie, el ghazi, abraham, taylor etc, but i dont even expect them to be here next season, and every game they play this season is taking away development time from someone who will be here, this season is fuc***, lets just accept that and start planning for next season now.

Most of the players cant even play the style DS wants if you held a gun to their head, aka Hourihane, taylor, BB, etc etc etc.

A team that wanted to win versus a team that assumed they would win ..... guess which one Villa was !

Don't ever want to see Taylor, Bjarnasson or Hourihane in a Villa shirt ever again ..... three of the worst Villa players of the modern era !
