So Pulisic to Chelsea for £60m the first big one (although he'll stay at Dortmund til the summer)

Perhaps not worth the money from a footballing aspect quite yet, but from a marketing aspect it's a smashing deal.

Good player for Dortmund but Reus and Sancho been better this season.

Way he plays though you have to think he's Hazard's eventual replacement.

The fee for Pulisic is ridiculous. He is a really good player, and obviously very talented for his age, but that makes him one of the most expensive players in europe.

I also wonder how much Dortmund will actually play him? Apparently this deal was worked out last summer, and Sancho was given more and more minutes while Pulisic was put on the bench.

I'm not saying Hazard will stay, but I'd say Pulisic is more of a replacement for Willian.

Pulisic is a very good young player and although the fee is inflated, it clearly takes into account marketing potential (which is horrible, but y'know, football).

Gotta love how Matt Jarvis got higher billing than Samir Nasri here.

Insane money for Solanke, between that and the Ibe transfer a couple of years ago Bournemouth have been a real help to Liverpool.

or dodgy. also Brad Smith 6 million after less than 10 games for Liverpool and has played even less at Bournemouth

~£40m worth of "talent"

They also get £20million for ings from Southampton when he's loan becomes permanent at the end of the season.

£60million from players they signed on frees and a youth team hopeful.

I don't think the money for Solanke is that bad to be honest.  He's a promising forward and will be an asset for Bournemouth.

he's 21, played 21 games in english football mainly as a sub and scored 1 goal

they're paying for his potential and for what he has done for england at yoof level, you would like to think after ibe they would be a bit more wary of it

the short term good news is for me that puts abraham's value around £25-30m which i dont see anyone stumping up this window so he should stay with us
