Albion, Norwich, Boro, Leeds (2 defeats on the bounce) and SHA all dropped points today. This league is nothing special. When we string a few wins together we will be right up there. On paper we have the best squad in the league. A few new additions in January and we will be flying.

we really need to sort our defence out and get at least one midfielder who is comfortable on the ball. without Tuanzebe and Grealish we look way more disjointed as a unit.

Don't think we did enough to deserve to win but don't think qpr's attitude to the game deserved anything either.

The ref completely killed any momentum we had in that game, the amount of time qpr players spend on the deck when we were getting at them was obscene but he just let them get away with it.

Also what a complete joke to be time wasting from about the 30th minute.

Might have been 4 goals but it wasn't a good watch.

Hutton cost us points again. But it wasn’t just him. We were dreadful at times. We’ve been getting worse for a few games now.

QPR trying to make sure no football was played after their goal, yet they get two yellow cards for time wasting deep into injury time. What is the point? It’s the same as the constant fouls on Grealish, one booking in the 87th minute makes no difference.

The FA really needs to sort its shit out because it’s spineless and a token card in the dying seconds makes no difference to teams setting out to spoil a game.

All of that alongside the selective decisions to make sure the ball was placed where the foul was and blowing up to prevent a quick free kick that put Abraham through one on one.

Their time wasting was just pathetic, adding on time isn't enough, more players should have been booked or sent of, it was a disgrace and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I hope qpr go bust. words removed in the stands and words removed on the pitch. Their number 10 deserved a volley in the jaw.

That was a shameful show by Villa, QPR and the referee. 

QPR took every opportunity to roll around on the floor, walk slowly to take a throw in, fanny around at a goal kick was taken. The referee gleefully allowed it, he even helped them out by insisting that every free kick, even in our own half was taken from precisely where he squirted his cream.

Villa are in desperate need of some footballers. Without Grealish we are doggedly pragmatic, we've got players out wide that do things but nobody in the middle that can take control of a game. McGinn included. Bjarnason was absolutely woeful, he ran into people gave the ball away and put his teammates under pressure at every opportunity. At full back we were flipping awful. Bree started the game well with Adomah but after watching Hutton punt the ball to the opposition every 5 minutes he decided he would have a go too. 

Bjarnason and Hutton turned the ball over so many times I lost count. I'd happily never have either of them play for us again. 

Thank goodness that Abraham is on form. We need his goals to simply stay in games as we're always going to concede.

Two big issues is surely

1) our defence. Again totally utter **** shit. How many goals have they let in the last 10 matches?

2) the midfield. Not even sure what to say. Bjarnason, Whelan, Hourihane, all utter crap. So slow and clueless on the ball it's unreal they are professional footballers.

I’m so fed up of hearing this. What makes you think we have the best squad in the league? We dont have one decent defender. We are decent going forward with Grealish in the side, but best squad in the league? Absolutely no chance.
