on balance it is hard to argue with the result, we got a lucky goal at the start, they get the most disgustingly comical goal at the end.

we probably played the better football but our defence is still not good enough.

Something i have thought a bit for Abraham, part of me thinks he is great, but also part of me thinks he misses a LOT of chances, like....a LOT.

Part of me wonders if a striker who can finish better would be getting even more goals for Villa.

There's plenty of positive - we've gone away to a team amongst the very best in the league and created enough chances to win three games - we could and should have had more goals and in the end it's taken a refereeing foul up of enormous proportion to take it away from us. 

We're seeing El Ghazi develop, the team looks like we'll score goals again anyone and I don't think we need t fear anything. Albion were lucky tonight.

The negatives are again with Nyland, he's a problem waiting to happen in each and every game and in the injuries - we're a bit banged up at the moment.

It's frustrating right now, we deserved to win that game and we had it won barring a very poor decision - but I think there's more good than bad in the performance.

As much as we missed a hatful of chances, we've lost 2 points there due to sheer incompetence from the officials. 

That's a sickener. It's the sort of thing that feels really unfair.

Thats awful. No ones fault. Its how football currently works. Fair play to Rodriguez saying it hit his hand and went in and the ref didnt see it.

Controversially, I've said Smith was poor today. Mainly because we relied too much on speculative balls forward. The last few weeks we've been very good at short, accurate passes. 80% of the game today we were playing a pseudo hoofball type game. The 20% we played those short passes we carved out decent chances, including that Abraham sitter. We'd have won comfortably if we hadn't had tried to force the ball forward, regardless of that bullshit at the end.

The result is disappointing, the baggies goal was ridiculous but we should take from the last few games that we are genuine contenders and should fear nobody in this league. Away to one of the best teams in the division, created a hatful of chances and they only salvaged a draw with an injury time one armed robbery - it’s going to be a really exciting few months.
