2 points lost thanks to frankly the worst defensive display I have ever seen from every single player. You defend from the bloody front and we did zero. The blues game defensively should have been a wake up call yet this defensive performance. Not good enough Villa and the sooner January comes the better. I'm fuming. From back to front that was utter dog turd defending. At least 3 of their goals came from Hourihane trotting around rather than either tracking or closing his man down. As for the keeper. Words fail me. Bruce chased him for  a good few years. He should have been sacked for that.

Totally forgotten what a match like that feels like. Loved the game, bitterly disappointed with the result.

To be fair the previous incumbent decimated the defence and left Smith with ZERO options, the back 5 picks itself and it's not Smith's fault.

Yep 4-3 down at home, get the extra man advantage, instantly go into a 5-4 lead, just need to see it out and get done again too easily. Surely thats it with Nyland between the sticks now.

Disappointing to draw but we'll do a lot better long term playing like this. Extremely promising.

I cant even begin to analyse what just happened. 10 goals, a sending off, 2 disallowed..... crikey! Good entertaining game though. 

 

My god we need a better keeper and much as i hate to say it, we need a replacement for Chester, and of course an actual goalkeeper, not someone who won a competition.

On the positive side we had 26 shots!

We are really ticking up front and across the middle. Tuenzebe looked terrific. Hutton has become a creative midfielder. Surely Nyland will pay the price although every attack by them resulted in a goal, and we must defend as a team.
