Every so often, an idea comes along on this website that is so baffling I don't know what to do with it. The newest form of this is that Steve Bruce is going to purchase all of the players we don't want. I can't help but notice that many of these players, like Lansbury and Hogan for example, were not playing under Bruce and presumably are not exactly desperate to go and not play for him somewhere else.

Yeah it's weird isn't it :D

It fits the narrative though

The best way to navigate the transfer window as a fan is to try to not get carried away with rumours one way or the other. Take them all with a pinch of salt.

There used to be a saying on here  ITSOTP -In The Shirt On The Pitch. Wait until then to get excited.

(Although it would probably be ITSABMH now)

Bit wary until we know it's same guy.

Don't remember him ever doing players going out.

Looks like that new one gone now actually.

It's a shame if he's gone but it's probably not great for the club to have people leaking moves.

He always  posted names as well

Chelsea will make a decision on Tammy Abraham’s future by January 14, after it emerged there is a recall option which must be triggered by a set date.

Abraham is on loan at Aston Villa but can be recalled by Chelsea two weeks into the January transfer window due to the terms of the deal.

Wolverhampton Wanderers want to sign Abraham, an England international, on loan for the second half of this season and are now waiting for Chelsea to make a decision on the striker’s next move.

It is understood that Wolves are confident of tempting the 21-year-old to Molineux and are convinced he is eligible to play for them, despite featuring for Villa and Chelsea’s under-23s this season. Under Fifa rules, no player can feature in matches for more than two clubs but Wolves believe the under-23s game, and the Community Shield, do not count as official.

Abraham has scored 16 goals for Villa this season and Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has identified him as a priority signing to sharpen up his squad’s attack.

Nuno said: “We have a squad and now we have to look at it. We have to analyse what we have in front of us and who can deliver these things.

“Now we have the chance with the transfer window, and anything can happen.”

Villa believe the situation will be resolved either way in the next few days, and remain hopeful that Chelsea will agree to let Abraham stay at the Championship club. However, they do have plans in place if Chelsea opt to cut the loan spell short.

Meanwhile, Wolves defender Kortney Hause’s move to Villa is in danger of collapsing over valuation.

Villa have offered £2m for the 23-year-old centre-half but Wolves want almost double that amount and negotiations have hit an impasse.
