The only managers in recent memory I can remember wearing a suit with any regularity are RDM and Alex McLeish

Doesn't Smith wear a suit to every home game? Tracksuit away? At least I am sure he did at the start.

I'm with you in that I don't care, it's up to him basically.

I thought he was pure tracksuit.

But yeah, like I said earlier, I'm not sure I can think of anything about Smith that matters to me less.

Do you have a thing for men in suits? I mean I'm cool with that, just feels a bit out of character for you to be objectifying a 48 year old man in this way.

No i don't.

But i do prefer our manager to represent our club in style on matchdays.

Why?

Who actually cares about this?

Like I said hardly any of our managers in recent years have worn suits. All the way back to Brian Little.

It couldn't matter less

Didn't say it matters.

Just said it's a preference of mine.

Am i not allowed to have that preference without people making a big deal out of it?

Course you are.

Are we not allowed to ask why you care?

Maybe a silly thing but i'd prefer Smith to wear a suit in the games.

Representing the club in style is important for me. Yes i know he's just a coach and not a CEO, but still i would love it.

you're right.

To be fair he wasn't asked that. He said that was something he thought was important and the next 10 posts are basically ridiculing him for implying he said the daftest shit ever. Amongst them a half arsed 'are you gay' joke.

I don't really give a shit what Deano wears, though I will admit I'd prefer it not to be a mankini. But lets not pretend he was only asked why he thought that was important to him.

Correct. Suit at home and tracksuit away.

I just think it looks more professional and classy.

If i was a coach for a team with thousands of people watching on matchday i would 100 % wear my best. But too each they're own.
