It would have been disrespectful and shown a lack class to get into a public spat with the England manager. It would also not have done Jack any favours. Anything with Southgate at this point would be a distraction that would be used against Jack, I feel. The important thing is to get focus back on our fantastic league start, which is always going to be more important. Dean is also the kind of manager that will be putting his arm around Jack and telling him all the important things he needs to hear to give him that boost. He also has other players playing international football, he is wise to tread carefully and not attract any unnecessary attention towards us. See, for me, that is not boring. It's a calculated way of saying that we want to get revenge for the way they beat us when we last played them. That's not boring - that's psychological stimulation.
