I'm sorry, Smith may have weaknesses but the upshot is the players we have bought are just not good enough. Our dead ball specialists are awful, so may free kicks due to Jack, free kick after free kick woeful. Corners woeful. Midfielders unable to pick passes. So little creativity. Strikers unable to score even when presented with opportunities. Defence leaks like a sieve. Pretty much every signing has been disappointing for me. But the thing that drives me nuts most of all is the constant, stupid unnecessary fouls. We just keep doing this, it's madenning. Maybe Smith should be able to improve these but for me the players just don't look anything like good enough. I'm not sure any manager could make these players good enough for the task.
