VillaChris
His in game management simply isn't good enough for this level. Nakamba isn't amazing or even Marvelous but he's a defensive midfielder so surely you put him on at 1-0? Especially when Chelsea make a double sub and put on two more attacking players. Instead yet again he sits on his hands for ten minutes to see how the game pans out and we're 1-2 down by time he finally makes the change and it's a different context to the game. When you're beating top 6/7 teams you need to use your subs well, slow down the game and also tweak formation as required. Simply dosen't do any of that so no wonder we can't beat any semi competant team in this division even when we're leading.
Fairy In Boots
I’m surprised people are surprised, it’s been painfully obvious since Christmas.

Yeah, he'd bring on all those players we have that can make a difference against a perennial top 4 contender.

foreveryoung
It's not now just the players losing us the games, it's the manager has been since Christmas. It's just some fans are far to loyal to disrespect him. He is a unfortunately poor Premiership manager, an he won't get another job in the Prem for a while if he goes. All the time we have had off and we have come back worst than we was before the lockdown. Smith run out of ideas Christmas and should have went. Like I said, it’s the performance. Totally inept and pretty much what we’ve seen all season. Is it suddenly going to change over the next 8 games? villalad21
Dean. Parking the bus doesn't mean letting the opposition have an unlimited amount of crosses and hope to defend it. Might be a suggestion to prevent crosses from happening in the first place. This was shocking. 3 month break and nothing has changed. I'm absolutely fuming. 3 steps backwards today. We are still a team without a character. Edited June 21, 2020 by villalad21

useless
The manner of the defeat doesn't matter what matters is that we lost yet again to a team in the top half of the table, there's been nothing whatsoever to prove this season that we can beat any of the better teams which is unfortunate because it's only the better teams we have left to play. How anyone can think we have chance of staying up is beyond me, we aren't going to start magically beating the better teams all of a sudden.
