Pre-Match New Dawn Patience

Stand-in manager is a Bruceball disciple and we'll see no change today. Whenever he has had chances before, he has been very weak and unprepared to change anything. If I was there, I'd throw a cabbage at him !!!

Looks like 3 at the back to me.

         Hutton  Axel  Bree

Elmo                                  taylor

     Thor      McGinn     Hourihane

                   Jack

                  Abraham

Yes, I like the look of this.

Maybe swapping Hutton and Bree around but I feel Jack will be leathal in what I'd class his natural position.

Nice line up. :thumb:

Maybe...

---------------------------Nyland----------------------------------

Hutton-----------Bree--------Tuanzebe---------Taylor

It’ll be this imo.

My prediction.

Bruce going was a relief, but also doesn't inspire any undue optimism.

I think we will smash this game 0-4.

Players will be out to set a good impression remember combined with no Bruce ball for the first time in 2 years.

Nil Four.

I don't think MacDonald is under any instructions other than to take charge of the team. I think he picked a team he believed wouldn't be beaten. I'm not so sure. I backed us to draw but this game is one that is difficult to predict. Anyway, I'll go 2-2 with Jack and Tammy being the Villa scorers.

Looks defensive to me. Think K-Mac is under instruction to park the bus and get a point.

I agree that is likely the plan, but I’m not sure if he was instructed, or that’s what he decided on his own.  Bold, daring, KMac is not my impression of the man

Can't help but feel we will drop points here

In a way that might be helpful to the new manager, if we were to win and go 8th or 9th, there'd be an expectation that we would be pushing the playoffs before too long. If we lose and the new man takes over a team in 15th or 16th place, that expectation is gone and he can concentrate on building a team that can go up next season.
