26 pages of match thread. 20 of which were ABBA puns. Says it all really.

Bruce has to go as the winner takes it all.

And we have to take a chance on someone else.

The owners have the money (money, money) to hire a better manager.....its a rich man’s world.

we managed at least 12 mins of actual football this time

That is probably the amount of time we spent actually creating any sequences that were effective in exposing Bristol.

The quality of football, even in those 12 minutes, is indicative of the chances we create. None were good enough to score from open play.

Not good enough.

Just a long, long way from being good enough. This can’t continue. The issues have always been there, the lack of any kind of plan, the lack of coaching, but now he’s obviously lost the players’ confidence as well. We look timid, and not up for it. The players must know the manager is under pressure, and they’re certainly not running through walls for him.

In a flood of ABBA puns in the match thread, very much the highlight of the evening by the way, it was suggested several times that this might be Bruce’s Waterloo. The Napoleon parallell is not just a little bit flattering for Bruce - tactical genius and hubris are hardly the qualities that define him. If military history is our metaphor, then surely Bruce is 20th century France? Ill prepared and surrenders without a fight.

Doesn’t make it look any better though does it?

Is that good enough given the squad and resources we have and the opposition we have faced thus far?

It makes it better in the sense that it is a factually correct statement rather than one deliberately skewed to make things look as bad as  possible.

Things could and should have been better but it’s hardly the disaster some are making it out to be.

Awful display and Bristol were there for the taking to take off our biggest goal threat in Abraham tells you all you need to know about Bruce it’s going to be another year wasted in the champ  ,same story as last 100 games with Bruce no plan and for a man that knows the champ so well he has no idea his to snap a losing steal this is the 3rd season on a row that we have gone through patches of 7/8 matches without winning not good enough just simply not good enough .
