With Bruce gone, do we have the option to bring back any players out on loan?

Considering the state of things I'd happily have Elphick and Clark return.

I can’t see that happening, they need games, it’s why they’ve been loaned out in the first place, the new manager might have other ideas but I highly doubt it

We need defenders! They'd have been getting games here already.

You think? Bruce said numerous times that the kids would get a chance but they haven’t really, obviously Bruce isn’t here anymore, so it’s a moot point, I’m off to bed anyway, night

Nope

Well he, sort of. He played 90mins for them in midfield (according to match reports) in their 3-0 cup win over a D4 side.

He has been on the bench for every game so is in contention.

Absurd really. He's been there for 3 months, his team have played 8 games, and he hasn't played a minute of football. We may as well have kept him here.

I'm not hugely hopeful, he's 21 in 3 months, and he's made 11 senior appearances, all in League 2, across 3 seasons. If he's not starting to command match time at his age, at this level, I'm not sure he's got it in him.

Why was Clark subbed?

I don't know. They'd just pulled a goal back to be 4-1 down so they may have been chasing the game? Also he played 90 minutes midweek in the EFL Trophy so maybe he needed a rest?

Having read some fan comments apparently they played him at right midfield and fans weren't happy with playing players out of position versus the league leaders.
