Alright then, have it absolute that your finishing position at the end of the season (aside from relegation places) determines how many signings you can make in the following transfer window...

Isn't that the same? What's to stop teams deliberately losing because they need lots of signings and need to finish lower in the table to achieve that?

25 man squad with four players allowed out on loan and as many U18's as you like. If you have more senior players than that, they become available for the value of their remaining contract.

Wage caps are really hard to monitor - even an idiot like me can count how many blokes are on the back of your programme.

I actually really like this idea. I think maybe U21s works slightly better though. As there are U21 and U23 teams.

Being able to sign players for relatively cheaply from great teams with players surplus to requirements is smart but it also means you have to wait til the squad is declared i.e after the summer window so you have to wait until Jan to complete the purchase.

Here's a crazy idea. Handicap next season for the top 4. Champion starts -20, 2nd -15, 3rd -10, 4th -5. Sounds absolutely bonkers but looking at most season it would mean about 6 teams could still win the league on the last day

That is kind of a sucky idea as well. It would be really entertaining until someone like wolves get promoted end up winning the league and going down the following year because they couldn't deal with the -20pts and losing their best players also leads to the same issue with strategic losing. If you have guaranteed Europe through one of the cups you can deliberately lose to 5th or 6th place and end up without the points deduction and then next season walk the league. Imagine if Liverpool or City had a 20 points deduction one of the last 2 seasons. Literally the next highest points total would be 30 points below and it would still be either City or Liverpool.

What? Why would we want to handicap ourselves next year? 😄

Yep it's not ideal and came out from a late night at the pub when we noticed that most years, 1st is 5 points ahead of 2nd, who are 5 ahead of 3rd etc. I mean some seasons like 2002 Liverpool came 2nd, the next season they'd only have 47 points 😂

It would be great to find out whether or not the club plan on streaming under 18 and under 23 games any time soon.

Was about to post the same. The official site sure milked the Wolves U23 match stream all it could. Time to broadcast the matches ourselves.

Mr Purslow will be speaking to fan groups on Tuesday.

If there's anything you'd like us to try to squeeze into that conversation, let us know here!

Ever since the major push for women's football, they have put the u23s, u18s and academy coverage right to the back

Can you state to him that we as fans appreciate you are pushing womens football, but for those of us who used to follow the various youth teams and news would appreciate it if they could set up a separate account on the various social media outlets, so we can still follow the players who will be the future of the club.

This isn't a dig at women's football, just miss the coverage the academy used to get

Are they planning to build anything with the Ghana Village obsessed with Villa?

Why is there never any sizes left that fit normal people in the training wear.  Why does it take so long to restock.

Keep up the good work on leading the fight against the so called elite wanting all the power.  What are his thoughts on that?

Yeah regarding having your picture on your ticket account, is this staying whilst we have Covid or are they keeping it. As I’m sure many in here if they can’t get to a game they give there season ticket to a mate to use

Are you likely to negotiate with Werder Bremen ever again?

In order to maximise kit sales over the summer/school holidays, could we release our new kit designs and training gear earlier?  Would love to buy something for the kids or myself before September arrives!
